This was the first tall building in the new downtown-area 'Kop van Zuid'. The spire rises up to 104 meters. The building do have 2 faces: The red oval part, and the blocked part. The total floorspace is 17.600m2. Under the building is an underground-station, a new one, build around the old underground, and the trains still drove during that construction! It's a very beautiful subwaystation, worth a look if you visit Rotterdam.
