On this location a 120 meters tall residental builing was proposed for years, it's name: 'De Ponskaart'. That tower was designed by the same architect as this tower.
The building is build very close to the street Weena, because an underground-line goes just behind the tower, a parking-garage is located obove that, which can consist 363 cars. The first 13 floors are offices, and other 18 floors are apartments, far from the traffic on the street! The construction costed 20,5 million Euro.
